Blood Drive. Our church’s Blood Donation Ministry, in conjunction
with the Miller-Keystone Blood Center, will be sponsoring a blood

Mother’s Day Donation. In honor of all of the mothers and women
in our congregation, the church has made a $200 donation to the
Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Warren County.
The mission of DASACC is to help, serve, and advocate for those
impacted by interpersonal violence, to be proactive regarding its
prevention, and to create positive change. For more information, visit

Family Promise/IHN. From May 6-13, Stewartsville Presbyterian
Church hosted 4 guests (2 adults, 1 teenager and 1 child) who are
experiencing homelessness. The Stewartsville Grange #121 and 18
people from our congregation helped with making meals, providing
hospitality, and sleeping over at the church. Thank you to everyone
who helped with this important ministry! The next week we are
scheduled to host is Oct. 14-21.
Attention Proud Parents! We would like to include information
about our high school and college graduates in the June Newsletter.
Please e-mail the following information to the church office by this
Wednesday, May 16: Student’s name, the school from which they
are graduating, the date of graduation, the type of degree they
earned (if graduating from college), and what their future plans may
be (which college they may be attending, or what type of work they
will be doing).
Save the Date! We will have a congregation-wide breakfast on
Sunday, June 3. The breakfast will be held from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. in
Summer Worship Schedule. Starting on Sunday, June 3, our
Worship Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Our Summer Schedule will
run through Sunday, September 2.
Sunday, May 27, will be our last day of Sunday School until
Church T-Shirts. We are selling “Stewartsville Presbyterian Church”
T- shirts. The shirts are available in black, green, heather gray, navy
blue, purple, red, and royal blue. The cost is $15 for sizes S-XL, and
2XL shirts cost $20 each.

Pray for This Week’s Mission Partner: The Presbyterian Depot.
The Presbyterian Depot is a collaborative mission partnership of Old
Greenwich, Pilgrim, Westminster, Second Oxford, and Stewartsville
Presbyterian Church. Our mission is to provide kitchen items to the
clients and families of Family Promise and Domestic Abuse &
Sexual Assault Crisis Center. When these individuals and families
move to a new place to live, many have virtually nothing to start with.
This year, Stewartsville Presbyterian Church will be responsible for
collecting new pots and pans, glassware, and cups.
Spaghetti and Meatball Dinner. Thank you to everyone who
supported our Spaghetti and Meatball Dinner on Saturday, May 5.
After expenses, we raised $730. All proceeds benefit our Summer
Mission Trip to Houston, TX.
Evening Women’s Circle. The Evening Women’s Circle will meet at
6:00 p.m. this Tuesday, May 15 at Panera.

Friday Devotional Group. The Friday Devotional Group meets
every Friday at 7:15 a.m. at Panera. This is a time to gather together
at the end of each week for study and fellowship. We are reading the
book “Devotional Classics” by Richard Foster.
For Friday, May 18, we will discuss the chapter: “Thomas à Kempis:
Dealing with Temptations,” pages 150-156.
Books are available on the table in the back of the sanctuary.

Youth and Adult Hiking. On Saturday, May 19, we will hike Point
Mountain near Port Murray. We will meet at the church at 9:00 a.m.
